After reading my question again, i realized that you're absolutely correct -
the thing to do is to build a ladder-frame out of this truck. Also, the
shorter axle DOES acommodate the camber... the wheels' tilt requires a
'wider' wheel well (deeper?), especially if i want to go with a radial
tire... so, the adventure continues...
