The 110V heater heats but the absorption unit doesn't cool. The cooling unit will have to be replaced or a new frige substituted. Some people have had success replacing the cooling unit as a do-it-yourself project. A couple of A/S dealers have recommended the frige replacement option (and three year warranty) even though they know I plan on installing it myself and will be price shopping for the best deal -- meaning they were unlikely to get the business.

Have you tried repairing it. I thought mine was dead but with the advise of others and help from www.rvmoble.com, I was able to repair it with a new $30 electric heating element. It now works great
