Joy, in my experience that usually doesn't work and if it does it's a short term fix. Given the bother of taking the frige out and going through the "burping" routine reinstalling it if it works only to have the same problem again seems like double work. I'd rather replace the cooling unit as rebuilt and recharged by RV Mobile and know I've got a warranty or even install a new frige and get a three year warranty. Very annoying to be off somewhere traveling and have the frige quit working when I don't have my full compliment of tools and/or choice of suppliers. It works for some people I hear but hasn't for me.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Have you tried turning the unit upside down?

Thanks for the suggestion Don ...

The 110V heater heats but the absorption unit doesn't cool. The cooling unit will have to be replaced or a new frige substituted. Some people have had success replacing the cooling unit as a do-it-yourself project. A couple of A/S dealers have recommended the frige replacement option (and three year warranty) even though they know I plan on
