Scott, the way it was described to me (I asked specifically), the bathroom
sink drain was plumbed directly into the black water tank. There was no
choice and nothing could be done to prevent it. It was supposedly just the
sink -- not the shower or the kitchen drain. The guy may be full of beans
but he's done a lot of RV repair work. Used to be an Airstream dealership.
Jim,
Not so on my '69 Safari! The bath sink and tub connect to the line from the
galley sink and all end outside the black water gate valve. If you use the
galley and bath sink, the tub will fill if the cap is on the drain. I doubt
that any A/S drained gray water into the black water tank. Sort of defeats
the purpose of a black water tank!
