Hey Deanna,
         Go for it. I wouldn't want tow with anything less that 350 cid V8. We tow a '66 Trade Wind with a 360 cid Durango and it has done the job easily, however we have yet to scale the Rockies. Putting in a Transmission cooler is always a good idea a cooler running transmission generally lasts longer.

We're new to all this soooooo...  We purchased a '73 Tradewind and are planning on pulling it with our 1996 Bronco (351, 5.8 liter engine, 4x4). Does anyone have any experience with this?  We're planning on adding a transmission cooler and a load distributing hitch.  Any other recomendations?
