The original owners had an obviously factory installed black tank. Think about it for a minute....Do you really want to hook up a blue tank every time you want to use the can? I like having my own "restroom" and not needing to wait for the next rest stop or go around looking for a place to get releif. Just pull to the side of the road and go. Needing to hook up the blue tank every time could lead to doing the P-P dance before using the throne. Adding a black tank is worth it. The factory tank was installed by removing the throne , cutting the nessecery size opening in the floor for the plumbing (tank empty valve) then installing the throne on top of the tank. This is a simple run down of the black tank install a little more is involved but over all it is not a big prodject. Trike 5384 '53 Cruiser |
