I want to replace the two small front windows on a '71 Safari. A mechanic working at an airport and accustom to working on with rivets on airplanes said he could replace the windows with plastic sheeting. They are of course curved but he thinks he could bend it into place............ Does this sound reasonable or is it foolish to think money can be saved this way?
