Thanks, Dallas. That's what I am afraid of. There's lots of goop on the roof
where the cover sits. If no one has any other suggestions, I'll try to score
a line in the goop where the cover meets it with a utility knife and hope it
will come free. As you say, I'm reluctant to use much force.
