Take a look at the cork and bamboo flooring at http://www.corkfloors.com. I
priced the bamboo (pre finished) at about $6.00 / sq. ft. plus nails. Nailing
to subfloor was their recommendation, by the way. I rather think I would go
with finish screws if I can find them thin enough. I figure about 400 bucks for
entry, kitchen, hallway, closets and bath in my 31' rear twin.
Plus, of course, my priceless labour. ;^)>
