Yep, some of that carpet has a color that will curdle the cream in your
coffee.

Not me.  I am seriously considering a cork floor, primarily to cut down
on weight.  I can't wait to get rid of the UGLY green carpet in my A/S.
We have a hardwood floor distributing company, so getting the materials
is not a problem, nor is installation.  Pergo's nice, but it's heavy.
Also, cork will be non slip and relatively easy to clean.
