I tow with a 88 Chevy K1500 4X4. It works great for the most part. We just pulled another trailer from Texas though, and I-10/I-20 about wore me out. The worst part was the bounce from the short wheel base. Yes, I am now looking at getting a new truck (Yahoo!!!) that has a longer wheelbase. Wife wants to get a Tahoe, but I do not think it will be good enough. I am considering a Sovereign Int. Land Yacht(30ft?). For towing I have a Ford F-150 with 4wd - is this going to be up to the task? At present, I just have a rear bumper with ball for towing. While this may or may not be adequate, I would probably have a decent hitch fitted - any recommendations?
