One thought worth reflecting upon is the number of trailer
manufacturers who were forced out of business due to the gas price increases
of the '70's which lowered product demand.
     There is an excellent chance that if Beatrice had not been available,
Airstreams today would be but one of the orphan brands.  Gratitude, rather
than complaint, might be more in order.
