On a related note, I learned at town meeting yesterday that Worcester is
looking to spend money on software this year. I'd like to contact them
with an offer to demonstrate that FOSS can be used to do anything they're
doing now with proprietary software. I would, however, almost certainly
need some backup on that, as Desktop Linux hasn't been my real area of
expertise (although I did get my Dell Inspiron 1100 onto Ubuntu finally...).
Thoughts?
