There is a VT librarian group that is working on this together and she
has been recommended to work with a specific package, so I wonder if it
may just be a question of establishing a running setup (although again,
I am not a pro at this so others are quite likely to know more).
It seems to me that you just might also be asking about software that
runs on Linux for use by Libraries. If that is so then last year there
was quite a lot of discussion amongst a group of people in NH that were
looking to setup Linux in a number of libraries throughout the state. I
could probably track down that lead if the library is interested.
On the other hand if you're saying that this librarian group already has
leads on Linux software packages for libraries then by all means publish
that information to this list!
