AthenaHealth is hoping to be a big player here. AthenaHealth is owned by
(CEO), another Bush , a cousin of our notorious pres. George Bush.
The whole health care is going to hell, because :
* The healthcare in this country has so much crap accumulated over the
years, that digitizing the crap is not the solution.
The solution is to start from scratch with a single payer system and get rid
of all the paper work. Get rid of all the private health insurance
companies. The only documentation should be patient health history and none
of these multi-tier billing with all these insurances, referrals, drug
formularies etc etc.
The provider is the cheapest component of the health care system.
Obama is going to be a disappointment in this area.
Sorry , I have so many things to say, I can't get my thoughts organized :-)
