I like the term 'free like a puppy' You get a free puppy, but then it has to have its shots, food, etc... just like open source has to be maintained. Brilliant. I think the Obama administration is going to favor something that does cost money to develop and maintain, because those are valuable jobs... as long as the product of that is open source, and there's a RedHat style business model to maintain that infrastructure... we're golden. -Jim
