I just googled that Brady Campaign and it is funny to see only Cal got even a C, 4 got F's and the rest got about 20 or less. I would like to see that on a bell curve see what we get compaired to other states. What I don't understand about gun restrictions is that simple phrase if you outlaw guns only the outlaws will have them. Doesn't that sound simple enough? I happen to believe that what is needed is not gun restriction but gun safty. I would feel much better knowing that anyone who had a gun know how to clean it, check it, and store it safely, rather then knowing that I can't get a gun... legally. Also on that same point it needs to be made so that the training does not take so much time/money/forms that people are turned away from it.
