Hi all-- I have succeeded in hotsyncing my Palm via VBox, but I have trouble keeping the USB port functioning consistently with the PDA. If I use the port for something else (for example, my scanner) then the Palm fails to connect when I try to hotsync. What works, I've discovered, is to re-install the syncing software. In the process it captures the port and syncing is possible again.
There must be some terminal command (or DOS!) I can use to do that. What a drag to have to go through the whole installation process! Any ideas? I've scrutinized the VBox pdf file, but I can't find anything that helps. It may be there but I can't find it.
