I finally got around to installing Debian on one of the old Neoware
thin clients that were offered on the list a few months ago. It took a
little more work than I expected . . . copying Sam, I bought a 1GB
flash IDE module from Logic Supply. It turns out there's not any molex
connectors in the thin client, but I found some pins with the right
voltage, and taped something together. Netbooting didn't work, so I
ended up putting the flash module in another computer, installing
Debian from CD, then moving it back to the thin client. I've got
screen, ssh server and sudo installed . . .now, I just need to find
something to do with it. The spare PCI slot, and integrated audio
offers some interesting options.

Has anyone else done anything with them yet?
