I just bought a bunch of AT&T 1080 4-line phones, with just a couple of 
POTS lines. This for an office of three people. It's incredible what the 
phones can do:  answer incoming calls and provide an office directory; a 
voice mailbox on each phone; 16 extension; and on and on. Just an hour 
or two to get them set up, and all for < $200 per phone.

Unfortunately they skimped on one area. Sound quality!!!  The things 
buzz and squeal. Every time they ring, they emit a high-pitched noise 
that's killing me.

So I may just throw them in the trash and try again with something else.
