Not to reply to myself, but I seem to have just done my quick research and found to prove myself wrong. If I'm reading https://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-newbie-8/dns-resolver-cache-438536/correctly, Linux doesn't store a dns cache by default, I could be wrong, however. -- There are 10 types of people in this world.
