Tiny Core Linux is only 10MB last I heard. The problem with the small desktop distros like Tiny Core, Puppy, and Damn Small is that they only run in single user mode, which may complicate things, depending on the intended use. Also, there's overheard of all the X11 stuff, which is probably unnecessary.
