Greetings List Lurkers,
Getting the invitation out Monday before noon is a blessed event.
We need to do firewall duty for the Meth Lab, the Methodists insist :^) In
addition, Tim Feerer will be stopping by with gadgets and stuff for our
consumption as he is moving to the coast. This could be fun.
Finally, news is that mdz, the x-cto of Cannonical, while relaxing in
Central Vermont, actually may come by the swim, having him by is a lot
like inviting Jimmy Hendirx to give beginner guitar lessons, that said I
repeat that he explicitly is uninterested in giving any presentations, but
is very interested in meeting and participating with anything social that
local linux or open source folks might be up to.
If there was an event that VAGUE or the Firehose has in the Burlington
area Matt might be persuaded to show, mix and mingle. That said, he
remains cordially invited to the Adult Swim.
As I indicated last week, we have had great luck with the energy monitor,
we have the code working and are munging the data into mrtg. Sadly this
weekend was devoted to pumping cellulose insulation into the Blue
Victorian's walls, and no code was writ. Everyone is welcome to get on the
