I just submitted abstracts for 2 VT Code Camp sessions: one an expanded version of the Dependency Injection presentation I gave a while ago, and one entitled "Emacs: Everyday, Every Way", about my everyday experience of using emacs for most/all of my professional and personal programming (and otherwise) tasks.
VT Code Camp is a great technical gathering to consume, but it's an even better experience if you contribute as well. Time is running out however: the abstract submission deadline is this Friday, August 12th. That being said … it's only the abstract! You still have a month to write it up and figure out all the details. If you're excited to share the technology you're working with, submit an abstract, and start to write up the presentation. The whole community will be improved for your efforts, and – trust me – you will absolutely gain personally from doing so. http://vtcodecamp.org/ And, even if you don't submit, do plan to attend on Saturday Sept 10th. Attendance is free, and there's lots of smart people (and free food! :) -- ...jsled http://asynchronous.org/ - a=jsled; b=asynchronous.org; echo ${a}@${b}
