When I can afford it, I like to read Linux Format. It's expensive in the US, but I like their style. They typically have tutorials and a disc full of stuff that I don't usually find on my own.

Date: Tue, Jul 17, 2012 08:46 Hi all, I know this is not really typical faire for the list but, recently I purchased two Linux mags (World and User) to compare hoping to find out which is better in order to subscribe. While not really much of a periodical reader, I wanted to get some easy tutorials on the Raspberry Pi which both provided, as well as, more in-depth stuff about the Linux ecosystem. They were almost the same in terms of content scope and presentation format as well. There was even a third mag that would have made a near perfect triplet. For anyone out there in VAGUE-land: What do you read/suggest? Thanks! Brian PS: Once I settle on a rag I'll probably get the electronic subscription for my Nook ... assuming they have one.
