Short version: Our SCSI U320-equipped PowerEdge 1800 has decided to stop booting; it doesn't show any evidence of getting power via either of its redundant power supplies and yes, I have tried multiple outlets and cords. I need to come up with a way to get a couple of files off the U320 drives, and we don't have any machines in our office (which happens to be in Waitsfield) capable of doing so.
Anyone happen to have a) a functional but not-currently-in-use Dell PowerEdge 1800 or b) another machine that will talk to SCSI U320 drives sitting around? I'm guessing this crowd would be as likely as any to know where I might find such a thing. My next possibility is buying another PowerEdge 1800 from eBay...but I'd love to avoid doing that, especially since I can't seem to find any closer than Texas.
