OSX/mobile when compiling Firefox.

I recently compiled Firefox to avoid the dark background (darknoise) 
when opening images.  However, I noticed osx and mobile directories in 
the source.

I'm curious, am I compiling features I don't need or want as I don't use 
OSX or mobile?  I see separate downloads for Android and iOS but not for 
OSX.
