I recently compiled Firefox to avoid the dark background (darknoise) when opening images. However, I noticed osx and mobile directories in the source.

I'm curious, am I compiling features I don't need or want as I don't use OSX or mobile? I see separate downloads for Android and iOS but not for OSX.

Multi-platform apps will include platform-specific code in the
source, so they don't have to maintain multiple source tarballs, but it's
only going to build the code for the target platform.
