Love the vi key bindings and I can be highly efficient on my keyboard.
I use pine on the mail server itself, so I can just ssh in and not
have to mess with POP or IMAP or whatever.
I've got it configured to use joe for its editor rather than pico.
The MTA is sendmail, which is Slackware's default. I haven't had to
dig around inside sendmail.cf in years. The stuff I actually need to
configure is all kept in external config files now.
I've noticed the number of html emails going up precipitously. Pain
in the ass. You're lucky if I read your damn email: no need to
decorate it and htmlify (and cssify) it! Jeesh.

But I still was using a very custom Courier/ MySQL/ Postfix/
Squirrelmail setup on a site until last year :)
Not true: It's IMAP server is/was very popular, but these messages
are definitely being delivered by the courier MTA!
