I suggest to upgrade to the last release (3.13.0), as it is unlikely someone will be willing/able to provide support on this very old version.
Since 3.4.1, all this clone flags related code was heavily restructured/reworked, and supports somewhat more combinations. So, maybe 3.13.0 will solve your problem. Feedback welcome ...
