I like the idea of dropping Laxman for Misra ... Like Disha pointed out, Zaheer and Harbhajan have demonstrated that they can be useful with the bat. If 3 or 4 of the top 5 batsmen have failed, we are pretty much staring down the barrel anyway, what can Laxman do to save us ? With Kumble in, he can be handy with the bat too. We have to play 5 bowlers ... But, as usual, our over conservative selectors and captain will think differently, If Dhoni is the captain for the other 2 matches, he would play 5 bowlers.
