I used to think differently earlier about what Bush did, but I've gotto say now that howmuchever of a nincompoop he might be, what he did at that point of time (2001) was the correct thing to do, he had to show the world that there is no way anybody could come into his country and get away with it..I absolutely don't expect the Indian political class to do anything even remotely similar to that..The whole commando operation seemed very badly done , both timing wise and execution wise, and the poor commandos had to pay..God save India!
