I was not following this Ishrat case, but from what I read, it is shocking. I
hope the policemen are brought to Justice.
Archana, what happened to your nose? why surgery? But it is good to find out
that you have friendly colleagues. In a short time you have made good friends
with colleagues that they look after you for a week.

Hmmm, so how do you explain the fact that she was travelling alone with the men?

Hi guys,

Long time, no one has written. I had a nasal surgery on aug 28 and am on a
two-week recovery leave. I was at my colleagues place for the first week as i
had to be looked after. Now i am fine but stitches in the nose are still there.

Woke up with absolute disgust to this news. I remember going to Ishrat's house
in 2004 (or was it her neighbours?) they were more embarrassed about their
daughter being alleged to have been out of the city with men without her
parents knowing. It was a difficult thing to explain to the community. The
mother or aunt i met kept insisting to me that their daughter was not the kind
to go out overnight with men like that. The community, of course, never
believed the terrorism charges. And now the truth is out. One questions keeps
coming to me...WHY? just WHY?
