An overwhelming response was received for the first Regina Mundi Ex-students
Seven a side Festival soccer first round matches played at Chicalim School
grounds.
The winners of todays matches have qualified to play the semi finals and
meet the winners of the second round matches that will be held on Nov. 18
(Sunday)at the Chicalim School grounds.
In the matches played today Late Tyween Menezes team led by Charles defeated
Maria Silva led by Davis (2-0), Christine Andrade lead by Sinfo scored a 1-0
victory over Nazareth lead by Seby, later Zita Paes led by Edwin defeated
Terezin Rebello led by Albert Gama while Br. Mulligan lead by Ozler Fernandes
scored a 3-2 victory over Levita Rodrigues led by Levin Rodrigues.
The organizers in a press release have invited all ex-students to take note
of this invite and register themselves either via email [EMAIL PROTECTED] or
call Raymond Carvalho 9823643564, Benny Furtado 9822157545, Lavina Fernandes
9763131903 or Frankey Fernandes 9822162939 to confirm their participation
latest by November 15, 2007 to participate in the next round matches.
Winner would be presented with trophies and prizes for the best players, best
family team, and most active ex-student players.
The finals will be played on November 18, 2007.
