Sounds like you don't have modules that require extensions set up correctly
in your filing structure. Here is an example of how mods with extensions
should be set up.

 

-Game (folder)/Play me.mod

-Game (folder)/Play me_ext (folder)/Play me addon.mdx

 

 Note how the sub folder underneath where your game is located for the
extension uses the module name with '_ext' added on the end. This syntax and
folder structure is important for it too function correctly. All extensions
should be located in the sub folder

Ermmm... what extensions folder? The modules , for instance the

Critical Hit ones, do require their extensions since that's where the

maps are. Hoever I cleaned the Vassal/preferences file which prompted

me to select a new folder to install the vassal documention when I

restarted vassal, which I did, but it's everything still the same.

 

"Just to add a new information, the stand alone modules, that is the ones
without extensions seem to work fine, however any module with extensions
does not work."
