has also been an addition by Brent to vassal2.6 that does something similar
to what you ask like CB for players in game. If it isnt available in the
mod you are using, then the mod probably needs to be updated to incorporate
this.

I am wondering if there is any convenient way of choosing the order in
which units are stacked in a pile.
In cyberboard there is a function 'move to back' or 'move to front'. Is
there something similar for vassal?
In some games its important to have some units on top and some and the
bottom!
