Ummm, The VASSAL reference manual seems to cover it pretty well....Edit any module and select Help from the menu. If youhave original artwork, I would go with that though. Perhaps you can get better results whenscaling with different options or a different graphics program? - Make sure you have the artwork in RGB mode, not indexed - Scale down using best available scaling option (usually cubic or bicubic) - Then convert to Indexed color and make sure you turn dithering off I find with counters, you can usually reduce to 128 or 96 colors without too much loss of quality. >> >> No movement reporting yet...next job? > >---------- >I would expect that to be nearly the last job, right? I like to create a couple of counters and than start building the prototypes that give all of the behavious you want, including movement reporting, status layers, etc. Then I can see a couple of counters in full flight on the map. When I am happy with that, I go ahead and create the rest of the counter set. Nothing worse than creating a couple of hundred counters, then work them up and decide you really should have handled the artwork differently.
