Is there a way to attach die rolls to individual counters, and then
make the result hidden from the individual who owns the counter but
apply the result to the counters ability to uncover hidden units.....

I would like to make counters able to uncover hidden units based on an
unseen result (at least to the player)....

So for example could you set a search parameter in the pull-down menu
for a air unit and have it uncover units based on an unseen result,
revealing units [or not] within it's search radius based on that
unseen result.....

This could remove the need for a ref, in the search phase at least....
