I haven't done it yet (or am oblivious to it if I have) but theoretically
yes you should be able to do this with the Deck Global Key Command

Subject: [vassalengine] Using Global Key Commands on a deck

Hi all,

I'm trying to remove cards from a deck if certain events happen during
a game.

For instance, if a specific card is played, certain cards are to be
removed from the game.

Is this possible if the cards are in a deck? I would assume so, as
the dialog offers an option to apply to all cards in a deck. Thing
is, when I move the cards out of the deck and place them on the board,
the global command does what it should and deletes them. If they are
still in the deck, however, they do not.

I gave the cards to be deleted a Marker trait with a property that
only those cards have, then in the Global Key Command set it to affect
cards with that property.

What gets me is it doesn't work in the deck, but does when the cards
are not in the deck.

Am I doing something wrong, or can cards in decks not be affected by
global commands?

(P.S.- In the reference manual, there is no reference to the 'apply to
deck' options for the global key commands. Is there an updated
reference manual that I can grab somewhere?)

Thanks,

Dave Neumann
