Hi all,

I haven't received any feedback on this issue, and have tried everything
and cannot figure it out myself...

Not sure if it is a bug or not.

Basically, I have a deck and a discard deck. When I take cards from the
deck and play them on the playing surface and then move them to the
discard pile (either manually or via a right-click menu option) they get
'stuck'. That is, they seem to form a stack in the discard deck that I
cannot move, affect, reshuffle, etc.

This only happens when multiple cards are in the discard pile. That is,
if the discard pile is empty and I place 1 card in the discard deck, I
can remove it just fine. If I discard one card and then another,
however, first card in there gets 'stuck' like I mentioned above.

Weird thing is, the card cannot be moved at all...if I take a different
game piece (not a card from the deck) and place it in the discard deck
and remove it, the cards that were stuck become unstuck and move off the
discard deck...

Very strange.

Again, if anyone has a few minutes to take a look at the module (or
knows what might be the problem), I'd be happy to e-mail it to them
(about 8Mb).

Thanks,

Dave

Subject: [vassalengine] Problem with Discard Deck

Hi all,

I've had this problem before and never gotten it sorted out, and now
it's popping up in a new module that I'm making.

Basically, when I play cards on the table, then select to discard them
(I use Return to Deck, and have the discard deck selected) they go to
the discard deck, but then the bottom card becomes 'stuck' in the
discard deck and cannot be removed or reshuffled.

If anyone has any time to take a look at my module and deduce what is
going wrong, please let me know and I will e-mail the module to you
(it is about 8Mb).

Thank you,

Dave Neumann
