Hi,

Anyone looking for a grid that is more powerful than the Flexgrid ?

vbaccelerator has one called SGrid-2
 AND IT IS FREE
http://www.vbaccelerator.com/home/VB/Code/Controls/S_Grid_2/index.asp

It can handle Edit, and Icons, etc.
It can have up to 8 levels of sorting.
You can choose any Column to sort first, 2nd etc, and they do not have
to be in the order Left to right.
The web site has charts to show how it's perfomance compares to other
grids.

They provide some examples. which are fully working, but not all
features are demonstrated.
( EG I could find no examples for the sub sorting )
( Also, I haven't worked out how to have multi-line column header )
There is no help file as such, and there does not appear to be a lot
of 'chatter' on the web, about it.
I only found a couple of 'hits' which were questions being raised, but
there were no answers.

In the past, I used the Flexgrid a lot.
I will be using this grid in my current and future projects.
When you go to their site, do not be confused with SGrid which was the
predecessor to SGrid-2
(They are no doubt just keeping past 'customers' happy, that were
using SGrid)

If others check SGrid-2 out, and start using it, perhaps we could use
this forum (or another ?) to raise and answer questions ?
