Probably the best way would be for you to pick up a 'used' copy of
VB Pro or VB Enterprise at a computer show. I got VS6 Enterprise at
a computer show in Sacramento 4 years ago for $50. It was definitely
a 'fair' investment, with what I've made off of it since then.

Alternatively, re-evaluate what you need the control for. Chances
are you can accomplish what you need without it. OTOH, the learning
edition doesn't provide you with compile & distribution rights, so
unless this is for school, you won't get much out of it either way.
