*Job Description:* ------------------------------ Project ERP *Position Description SAP BW HR & Payroll Developer (With BW 7.0 front/backend experience and ABAP proficiency)* Responsibilities . Participate in designing and developing the architecture for all business intelligence solution components . Contribute to the design of business intelligence application solutions including database design, ETL, report design, and analytics integration . Translate business requirements into functional application requirements and logical data model requirements . Performs source system analysis, identifies key data issues and performs data profiling . Perform fit gap analysis for both functional and technical requirements . Capture and compile meta data and help define and deploy BW meta data strategy . Coordinate with the Project/Technical/Resource Managers and participate in project planning . Create and monitor Process Chains . Provide Production support for Finance and Procurement modules . Perform code reviews and benchmark performance metrics . Cutover, rollout, transports and configuration management . Create, Activate and sequence BW process chains . Create and maintain documentation . Attend and conduct business and technical meetings . Provide cross-training to customer/production support personnel *Qualifications . 10+ years experience in IT * . 7+ years experience as an SAP BW Developer . 5+ years experience in ETL with proficiency in ABAP development . 3+ years as a Frontend/Query Developer with an emphasis on creating dashboards on Enterprise Portal using Web Application Designer . Hands-on experience in BW standard contents (Datasources, InfoProviders) . At least one implementation using SAP BW 7.0 . 2+ years experience with designing data models on multiple full life cycle data warehouse implementations, logical, physical and dimensional modeling . Understanding of HR & Payroll/BW functional knowledge is a must . Prior Public Sector implementation experience at the State or Local level is required . Strong unit, integration and volume testing skills . Strong debugging skills for extractions and transformations . Strong Backend performance tuning skills .
