*We are only looking for a SR windows Engineer strong with trouble shooting, AD, GPO, DNS and VM. Also scripting either with VB or korn shell.* This is a Windows engineering role within a highly distributed global enterprise organization. The position is highly technical and hands-on with an equal focus on both Windows desktop and server. The ideal candidate will have a very strong technical foundation as well as a strategic mindset, good communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others. *Skills Required * - Expertise with Microsoft desktop & server operating systems (Windows XP/7 and 2000/2003/2008) - Deep technical understanding of Windows infrastructure services (e.g. AD, GPO, CIFS, DFS) within the enterprise - Deep technical understanding of Windows Printing infrastructure services - Experience managing system and user configuration across large, distributed environments - Strong troubleshooting mindset (i.e. parsing event log, sysinternals tools, analyzing memory dumps) - Scripting ability highly desired (whether with Perl, Batch, Altiris, PowerShell, WMI, VBScript, etc.) - Experience with enterprise security technologies (i.e. PKI, encryption, NAC/NAP, DLP) is a plus - Experience with virtualization technologies (i.e. VMware, XenServer, Citrix) is a plus - Ability to write technical and operational management documentation (system design and engineering documents, operational runbooks) - Strong verbal and written communication skills -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "VB.NET 2003 Group" group.
