You are right, gcc 4.8.0 even not yet branched and maybe is to early but next Fedora (19) will ship gcc 4.8.0 and we will begin a mass rebuild of all packages on 2013-02-12 (not VB included) . From http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/GCC48 GCC 4.8 will be released on mid-March - mid-April (in regression bugfix mode already) So I test if VB builds with gcc 4.8.0 and I'm writing to you to inform that we have a bug accepted on gcc bugzilla. http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=56148 So I will wait to see if GCC team will fix that ;) Thanks, -- Sérgio M.
