Yes, but you will still have to activate the virtual profile,
so you will still lose one activation "license". Why I think
this is problematic is that if you decide to alter your real
hardware, or if you decide that you would like to put your
hard drive in a better machine, you might have used the only
available activation license on the VM profile.
