I have Vbox running on a Windows 7 64bit laptop and I have numerous guests from FreeBSD, to Fedora, to Centos, other Windows versions.
Everything works well except for ubuntu. Whenever I upgrade the vbox software, ubuntu can no longer access the network. The other OSes all can. Sometimes the configuration files are messed up and networking has had autostart turned off. Sometimes dhcp client gets misconfigured. Sometimes installing the updated guest additions fixes the networking problem, other times it creates it. Again, Only ubuntu acts funny. I'm getting ready to just pitch it, but before I did, I wanted to ask if anyone has a fix?
