Not sure how to answer this :-(  The printer connection is to
/var/run/cups/cups.sock.  There are Server Settings but I have no idea
whether I need to set these up;

LMDE is the host and if Windows 2000 is running under Virtual Box LMDE does
not appear to have printing capabilities - Windows has seized control.

As I only use Windows for one purpose - to run a genealogy program - it is
not a major for me to quit Windows if I happen to be running it when I want
to print from LMDE.  However, it would be satisfying to know why?
