I have experienced exactly the same problems with FreeBSD 8.1, FreeBSD
8.2 RC2, PC BSD 8.1 and PC BSD 8.2 RC2. I had even written an e-mail
but saved it in 'drafts' until I could perform more testing. It
happens to me on Windows, Linux and Mac hosts.

It might be a problem with FreeBSD 8.1+, because I've had the very
same problems with Parallels Desktop 6 on Mac as host.
