I've been running vbox 4.0.2 on a Win 7 64bit host since public release plus 1 day. I haven't had any trouble and I like the new directory structure for vm support.
My problem seems to be related to networking and FreeBSD 8.1 The 8.1 i386 installer detects the network card, and loads the correct driver, but can not use the network. In one case (PC-Net Fast III) it couldnt even get a dhcp address. And in the case of Intel Pro/1000 MT Desktop I can get an IP address via dhcp but I cant surf the net with it. PCBSD (based on FreeBSD 8.0) works fine. Has anyone else seen this behavior?
